You start out by choosing from the many images available, the one you want to be turned into a puzzle for you to solve. The image is then separated into pieces, pieces which are then spread randomly on the game screen. You then have to use the mouse in order to pick up each of the pieces, and piece by piece put them back together, until you manage to make the puzzle look just like it did when you started playing the game.
